Moisturizes
I like that it deep cleanses my scalp. The only con is that I have to shampoo first because it'll leave a film on my scalp. It moisturizes my hair though. NJoy Essentials comment: When applying the detox, be sure to massage it onto the scalp to make sure that it completely covers the scalp as well as the hair strands. The detox will break down and lift any build up and sebum that's on the scalp. I think the film you see is this. Be sure to agitate the scalp while rinsing the detox from the scalp. Build up is absorbed by the activated charcoal and locked into the detox. Rinsing well should get it all off. You should not have to use shampoo and detox. Shampoo cleans by stripping. The detox cleans by absorbing. There are moisturizing ingredients in the detox that impart beneficial ingredients to the hair and skin but it should not feel like a film. They are readily absorbed and do not clog or build up.

I have been using bentonite clay to detox my hair since I've been natural the past 23 months. I decided to try your Platinum Hair & Scalp Detox because my drains were getting clogged from my hair and the mud accumulating in my drains (according to the plumber). Clean with no mess!
NJoy, you have made a believer out of me! I was an avid mud wash user. I use to use bentonite clay to detox my strands but, like you, I wasn't happy with the mess and the clogged drains that the mud would give. Your Platinum Detox has my hair looking and feeling amazing! I can see that my hair is detoxed from product build up because of how vibrant it looks. I think moreso than my beloved mud washes. It also leaves my hair soft and defined. I love it! Your Platinum Detox is now my monthly detox! Thank you sooooooo much! One request though. Please consider making this in bigger bottles so that I always have it in my stash.

The color fooled me! This stuff works great!!!
I was surprised by the gray/silver color and wasn't sure what to make of it. I put off using it and forgot about it until I received your follow up email. I am doing the maximum hydration method and decided to try the platinum detox instead of the clay. You mentioned you use this instead of clay. I LOVE IT! Why did i hesitate. My hair looks and feels great after the detox. My curls pop like crazy. I'm putting my order in for more right now. Thank you for another winner!

I couldn't wait to leave this review. I spoke with NJoy who recommended this product and let me tell you, it exceeded my expectations! After washing my hair with it and letting it sit for a few minutes, my natural curls are popping like crazy! I will never be without this product. If you're thinking about it, just get it!!

I wish it came in a bigger size
I'm a stylist. I first tried this detox when my daughter bought one of the big package sets. I loved it and am interested in buying larger sizes to use in my salon. How do I go about doing that? Thank you

My go to hair wash
I wet my hair, put it in, let it sit while I shower and rinse it out. Magic! I love how this makes my hair feel. Please don't stop selling this.
